NOTICE ON CHANGE OF CCIC APPLICATION - CONSISTENCY IN APPLICANT'S AND SHIPPER'S NAME FOR CERTIFICATE

In order to maintain the consistency in the applicant's name on application request for pre-shipment inspection of scrap materials exported to China for recycling purpose and the shipper's name appears on CCIC Certificate, so as to suffice our notification outlined in our Notice Ref. 168 dated July 1, 2004, effective from Aug 1, 2004, the shipper's name on CCIC pre-shipment certificates we issued will need to be exactly the same name as the applicant when the application form is being submitted. If applicants would like to go through an agent to submit their applications on their behalf, a letter of authorization by the applicant should be provided. Applicants should submit their Company information documents as per our notification listed on Notice Ref. 168 dated July 1, 2004. The agent's name should only be appeared on the space of "Agent's Name" on the application form for further contact in performing the inspection.
